I love it!

It's interesting, we have the same taste in art. Im not a painter or an artist, but I too have always been attracted to geometric shapes. For me, I think its the clean lines that I like, and how shapes are elegant in their simplicity. Haha, if that makes sense, I guess. If I could paint, I'd want to paint like you!

Artgirl,
Have you seen Howard Hodgkin? You seem to diverge from him by using value to create depth. (A big simplication I know but I've only seen what you've posted so far) With him its more about color relationships and direct brushmarks.
This is nice work. I especially like some of the textural efects that you are creating. Its looks like you're setting the stage and some of your "forms" are waiting in the wings. What will they do?
P.S. Now that I've taken my shot come on over to my site and tell me what you think. (It's only fair and you'll know I'm coming from).

anonymous-I find it terribly humorous that you posted this comment anonymously. If you want to talk about art, be a big enough person not to do it anonymously. If you are someone who just wants to offend, again be a big enough person to show yourself. But hey, thanks for stopping by!
