Enjoyed seeing this photo of the Krasner work. It is very similar in movement to Pollock's Guggenheim mural which I had the chance to see in the MOMA retrospective of his work (1999?) I think Lee Krasner did some very strong abstract work, and I've always wondered which way the influence flowed between Jackson and her. history would like to characterize her as Jackson's promoter, and not much more. But I think, judging by the art of both, that she was a pretty strong force in Jackson's studio as well.
