Guggenheim and Ernst

I am at the end of Peggy Guggenheim's autobiography. It has been an interesting read and her life appears to have been pretty crazy. She had intimate relationships with a number of artists and writers. She slept with Duchamp, which she claimed was incestuous because they were like brother and sister. Mondrian kissed her when he was in his 70s, proving he was still full of passion. She was married to Max Ernst for a few years, which while she tried to prove there was some happiness, seemed downright awful. In honor of Ms. Guggenheim and the recent Dada exhibit at the National Gallery which it was a part of, I give you Elephant Celebes.

How's your work-in-progress coming along?
I just finished a new one yesterday, called "TANGO". It's on my LivingofftheGrid.blogspot.com
I'd like to know what you think.
And post your new one(s).
Michael
I just finished reading a great book on de Kooning, deKooning: An American Master by Mark Stevens and Annalyn Swan. de Kooning had a sad and beautiful life. I highly recommend this book.
james - I picked this book up a few weeks ago but I've yet to crack it open. O'Keefe kind of came in as a surprise and pushed her way in front of deKooning (see above post). I'm anxious to learn more about him though. Have you ever read anything by his wife? I've read some or her critiques and essays and thought they were pretty interesting.
I've never read anything by his wife, they had kind of a strange relationship, so it would interesting to read her critiques.
