absolutely, it affects the way we recieve what we see. there's been many a time that i thought i liked a certain work because it was a "whoever" - which made it great art and then eventually would admit to myself that that particular work wasn't all that good.
yes, in geneal we're all influenced . . .
i agree. or the other way around. i have liked something but didn't feel as though i should. because maybe it didn't meet the expectations i had planted in my head.
